Everybody's thinking about it, or at least they are at my school. I made the unfortunate decision that I should attend at least one dance during my High-school career, obviously choosing Prom, and now I'm stuck knowing exactly what dress I want, but no store sells it for under 300$. Call me a cheapskate, but it seems a little ridiculous.
Like, who can really afford to pay 500$ for a dress they won't wear again? And yes, I am well aware of resale shops, but how inconvenient is that? I show up and say "this is what I'm looking for" and then say no to everything they bring out?
And thanks to my procrastination, I have a little less than a month to make sure I actually get the dress that I want.
My take on Prom so far:
- Dresses are expensive
- Especially long ones
- With beautiful tank-like tops
- Start shopping in September
So, that's how my week's been going, I ended up not doing anything today, other than babysitting and so I marathoned some great biography movies that came out recently, got a chunk of homework done, and yes, browsed for dresses.
I also spiked my hair!
Peace out, lihzbee
