What The.. THREE!

My tiny baby bopper, Shia, turned 3 years old this weekend. It's a little bit weird to me that she's been in my life for less than 3 years. I honestly don't remember what it was like to not pick up her dog poops, to sleep in a bed with only 2 bodies, or how I ever survived without her "creepy human eyes" staring up at me all the time.
Luckily I have an incredible family that is willing to accept that I think of my dogs as human babies. I asked my mom if we could throw a party at her house with my parents, brother and Jared and I with all the dogs for Shia. Of course, my mom agreed. I brought over pizza for the human and made delicious peanut butter and applesauce pupcakes for the dogs. (I'll include the recipe below).


Shia was spoiled, she received a birthday outfit and a bunch of toys from everyone at the party. She had no idea what was going on, but I could tell she enjoyed every second of the evening.

Shia, you're the greatest girl alive. Thank you for keeping your brother in check and babysitting him when your dad and I need a date night. You've come a long way for the puppy that ate a whole bag of charcoal. You're not an outstanding member of our family. I love you and your little snaggletooth to pieces!

Pupcakes1/2 cup of wheat flour1 teaspoon baking powder1/4 canola/vegetable oil1/3 applesauce1 egg2 tablespoons of honey3 tablespoons of greek yogurt1 1/2 tablespoons of plain peanut putter
Makes 6 pupcakesCook time: 15 minutes

1. Preheat the oven 350 degrees.2. Mix together flour, baking powder, canola oil, applesauce, egg and honey until combined.
3. Put cupcake liners into tin and fill about 1/2 way.
4. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes (mine took 12). You can insert a toothpick to make sure they're done, as long as it comes out clean as a whistle.
5. While the pupcakes are in the oven, combine in another bowl the greek yogurt and peanut butter until smooth to make the frosting.
6. Take the pupcakes out of the oven and let cool, I let mine sit for about 20 minutes before frosting them.7. Spoon out the frosting onto the pupcakes.
Ka-bam! You're done!
