I'm having a bit of bloggy comatose so I'm going to bump up an oldie from my previous blog. ;)

You're first time DRIVING that is.... ;)
So prior to 16 years of age, my father used to take me to the cemetery and let me drive (of course, while he drank a beer or two or three). I remember being so little (short) that I had a hard time pushing the clutch all the way in and holding it. Dad used to tease me and say " Guess I'll have to put a block on the pedals for you." hahaha Funny, weiner! :)
I remember feeling like I was all grown up! It was so exciting driving around the cemetery. Sounds morbid, yes, but this happened to be where my mother was buried. Guess dad thought she could get a good laugh or two. :)
Anywho, I learned to drive fairly quickly and was ready for when I was offered Drivers Education at school. The first time driving on the highway, I was really nervous. I did fairly well and passed Drivers Ed. I was on my way to freedom (or so I thought).
Now, I LOVE to drive especially if it's going 100+ mph down the drag strip! :)
How about you?
What was your first time driving a car like? What did you drive?
