When he grows up, I hope he'll be kind....
I hope he'll be the kind of person who stops to hold a door for someone, and who smiles at strangers and says hello.
I hope that he'll always take the time to listen to people's stories, and to offer a shoulder to someone who needs it.
When he grows up, I hope he'll be honest...
I hope he'll always be open and go after what he wants, and I hope he is always truthful with himself.
When he grows up, I hope he'll have fun....
I hope he'll take the time to take in the scenery, and live in the moment, and laugh and dance and really enjoy his life.
When he grows up, I hope he'll follow his heart....
I hope he'll do whatever makes him happy, be whoever he wants to be and not be afraid.
When he grows up, I hope he'll be brave...
I hope he'll always stand up for himself and what he believes in.
When he grows up, I hope he'll be happy....
I hope he never loses that bright smile, and his enthusiasm for each new day....
When he grows up, I hope he'll be all of these things....
But he'll still be my baby boy.
