WHEN IN: Kota Beach Resort, Bantayan

Bantayan Island happened to me and Ram on May 9, 2015 at Kota Beach Resort, Sta. Fe. We have been planning to venture out the place as it is one of Cebu's best. With the help of the internet, I found Kota Beach Resort to be the perfect place to spend our 24-hour escape. Their room rates range from Php900 to Php3800. For more information, please visit their website at http://www.kotabeachresort.com/.The lunch we had was heavenly! I think it's pretty obvious. We woke up 5:30am to witness the sun rise.Captured a flying falcon atop of the waves. Forgot to take a picture of our dinner so here's our breakfast instead. Now I'm going to take you to a mini tour around the place. I was right outside our room (which is located at the 3rd row) when I took this photo so here's what you would see on your right side.  Then on the left. And front. The beachfront rooms. They basically have a row of rooms which are priced depending on their size, airconditioning, and distance from the beach. That's their cafe on the right. We were about to head home when this photo was taken. Here are some of the panoramas I took.Click to enlarge.

If you may have noticed, we didn't take much photos on the first half of our day which was because the atmosphere was gloomy and pale. The weather was acting up. It rained a lil when we were on our way riding the bus. Good thing it didn't actually rain when we arrive until we left Kota. Ram just took some shots of me and there were lots of them since their was only a little bit of sunshine and it gave us a lot of time out at the beach. Speaking of shots of me, you may want to check them out here
We went swimming of course and it got me bothered because some tiny brown jellyfishes were swimming their thin bodies with us. Yep there were jellyfishes and I guess it was because of the high tide during the time.
What I didn't like about the place is their slow, like internet-connection-in-the-Philippines-slow, food service. It took them 1 hour to serve us our food and it got me a lil mad. But I then understood that, because it turns out they don't actually have enough people on their service crew. There were only like 3-4 of them serving 20-50 guests. Also, their mini pond-like sea (it can be seen right away when you arrive at the place) is dirty, especially when it's low tide. But the beach's water itself is clear and clean looking, except if there are lots of people swimming. I like the place, overall.
I made a video of our escapade! Please watch it in HD and make sure to give it a thumbs up! I hope you'll enjoy watching it.
Super big thanks to Ram for taking most of the photos. Can't do all these without him. If you like, you may follow him on his Instagram or listen to their podcast (RnR Podcast)!
