Aside from that, my recent fascination lies in observing the icicles forming from the edge of pretty much everything outside. By far, the most gigantic one I've seen is a whole story high -- it reaches from the awning of my neighbors house and forms all the way to the ground. To those who won't believe it til they see it, here's the evidence.
Being the good neighbor that I am of preventing a collapsing roof (more like my inner child wanting to hold onto a giant icicle and pretend it's a light saber), I gave it a good kick and hauled it off to show it (more like swinging it like a maniac) to my hubby who was busily shoveling snow off our driveway. Oh what a lovely wifey I am!
After my innerchild had finally subsided, it was time to get down to more serious study of the icicles.
