I have determined that my dog is crazy. Bonafide nuts. We have him trained to ring a bell to go outside, and lately, he’s been ringing that darn bell ALL the time!
It’s because of our tree that you can see from the glass door. It’s overgrown and could probably use some trimming. The overgrowth makes it more difficult to see the lizards and critters that run up the bark, and the dog constantly has his powerful hound nose pressing through the leaves. It’s become his obsession. Here he is in action…
This is going on all day long – the dog staring out the door planning his attack. It drives him batty that those poor lizards outsmart him every single time. They always get away. Go lizards!!!
So my song of the day is for my not so intelligent dog with the iron will. He’ll keep obsessing, and I’ll keep letting him out.
