I have this friend who comes up with the most random questions on earth. And yesterday she came up with this. I goggled, Realized it doesn’t help much either. So for the sake of all the healthy relationships in this world and guys not getting judged, I thought I should write about this. Let’s start.
So porn, sexually explicit media content was invented shortly after the moving picture was invented in 1748 (Google ‘Fanny Hill’ if you like more information) Which apparently has a pretty long history. If you have watched Don Jon, (If you haven’t, here’s what the plot says, “A New Jersey guy dedicated to his family, friends, and church, develops unrealistic expectations from watching porn and works to find happiness and intimacy with his potential true love.”) the whole movie is based on men and porn but in the movie, this guy loves porn than he loves women.
Nonetheless, the whole point of the movie is when the guy thinks that porn is actually better than sex which is quite arguable and which I’m not gonna talk about but, ask any teenage boy who has a proper teenage and he will tell you, porn is good.
So when kids becomes teenagers , their curiosity mostly lead them here. Why? Because it’s the most innocent way to fulfill their sexual desires. It’s the easiest way to do, no cost, no risk you just have to close your room door and search. So the early teens watching explicit content can be justified to a certain extent, it’s their hormones. I mean true there was a time that they watched ‘The bold and the beautiful’ or ‘Fashion House’ Or even ‘Spartacus’ but well it’s the 21st century now. Everyone has internet.
Moving on to the single men, why do they watch porn? Answer is pretty obvious. They are freaking single and the high testosterone levels need to be taken care of.
It’s fun, it’s like watching a soccer game or a basketball game or baseball. In soccer, it’s the repetition, but there comes climax. Everybody kicks the ball, goalie catches the ball, maybe there would be a penalty shoot out. After all we know it ends up in the same way, one team wins. So the exact thing happens when men watch porn. Men don’t get bored with it. It comes with their nature. If you wonder why they never eat popcorn along with it. Well, god should have created more hands.
Here comes the confusing part. Why do men who are taken watch porn? First reason comes again, it’s fun. No matter you’re married or not you still enjoy a soccer match in the same way.
2nd, girls, you aren’t there when we need you. We fight, there are silent treatments, menses (Unless you wanna go Christian Grey and do it bloody) and what not.
3rd , it’s not demanding and you don’t feel responsible for it. You don’t have to go through hours of seduction to move to the 2nd base or convince her over and over that this is not just a hook up. You don’t need to go down on them to go down on you. You know it’s not gonna knock on your door in 9 months with a baby.
You just turn it on and get straight to the job, less trouble. More over, porn ma
kes impossible, possible. You can get laid in your imagination with all the blondes, brunettes, Latinos, Asians, Africans, trannies and what not. You can be on orgies, ladies nights with male strippers, Cleopatra’s bed, on top of the Eiffel tower etc.
But ladies, just because your boyfriend watches group sex, doesn’t mean he’s gonna have it. Just because he watches a sportsman’s double*, doesn’t mean he’s gonna hit on your mom. So if you find out that he does watch porn, don’t go all haywire about it. Try something new, watch together.
Either way, Just because you don’t watch porn, it doesn’t mean you’re a saint and because you do, doesn’t mean you’re a sinner. It’s just an innocent way of men dealing with hormones.
But after all, porn is like getting drunk. After you throw up, you know it wasn’t worth it.
