As some of you might already know, I am pregnant. Other than the standard things that annoy other pregnant ladies, like nausea and feeling super exhausted; one big annoyance has been not having much choice in the drink department.
I of course have not had wine well before I was pregnant and during. So when the hubby reaches for a glass of red or say a refreshing glass of cider or beer, I of course cannot. Pity hubby has not abstained like I have to…wish he would do it in solidarity with me. Did your partner give up beer or wine when you were pregnant?
My drink of choice lately has been water, non-alcoholic cider (that actually does not taste the same and that is probably all due to being pregnant) or mineral water with a touch of lemon/lime juice in it to give it some extra flavor. Sounds very boring doesn’t it!
