Who doesn’t love Pinterest? So many inspirational and pretty things – from DIY crafts, drool-worthy recipes and hawt fashion – it’s easy to waste an entire day pinning hopes and dreams.
It’s also REALLY easy to fail at your own attempts to recreate things you’ve found. I, for the most part, have avoided this by only attempting things that appear relatively easy and not ridiculous. I’ve decided to dedicate this post to things I’ve found on Pinterest and dominated

Brownie in a Mug

My version:
A little too moist, but overall, pretty damn good!
Spicy Thai Noodles

My version:
I added shrimp for a little extra flavour, but this recipe is AMAZING!
When I can eat spicy food again I’m definitely going to make it more often.
Wedding Invitation Ornament

My version:
The ornament ball I bought was a little too big, I think, so it doesn’t appear as “full” as it should. Still, I really love this idea and I think it makes for a great keepsake for any married couple! And it’s cheap! I found the ball at Michaels for less than $5 with one of their %-off coupons.
Balsamic Vinegar Chicken w/ Fresh Tomatoes

My version:
My mom and I made this together and I think it could use a little more balsamic than what the recipe actually calls for. I like a bit more zing!
I have a few more Pinterest projects in mind that I plan on tackling soon, including some red velvet cookies, bacon corn chowder and a curtain rod Christmas stocking holder. Fun fun!
