Winter Cabin Cross Stitch

Winter Cabin Cross StitchHere’s my finished Aurora Cabin cross stitch.  This is another Dimensions kit and I really enjoyed working on it.  It took about 4 months to complete which was a much shorter time than I expected.  The kit came complete with all supplies and there was plenty to finish the kit.  The final piece came out fantastically and I am very happy with everything.  I especially like the details around the cabin and frozen lake area, as well as the bridge details which I didn’t notice in the picture until I started stitching it.  I also love the way the color blending worked in the sky.  I’m always afraid cross stitch pictures are going to look naturally separated because there is no way to blur the lines where one color starts and another begins.  This was not a problem as you can see from the picture, the sky blends perfectly and all the colors work to create the Aurora in the background.  Overall a fantastic pattern.  If you want to try it you can find it here.
