I'm sorry I've been so absent for the past week, but my laptop broke, and then I was staying at a Mr G's house, to celebrate his upcoming departute for Australia! So jealous.
I did have a lovely time, though - thanks for asking! If you follow me on Instagram you may have spotted me documenting a little trip down some Roman gold mines, to a 1930's original cinema to watch Skyfall, which I will be blogging about properly this week while I get myself back on track. I also lost abysmally at bowling on Sunday, although... you're meant to aim for the gutters, right?!
The only thing I really didn't enjoy was the 160mile drive back home again in the pouring rain. It was only made better by playing some classic tunes really loud all the way - I had some funny looks when I went through the toll bridge, forgetting to turn down Bon Jovi first... I also had to spend all my Olympic 50p to cross the toll bridge because I forgot all about it and had no change. Devastating.
