…wrack and Ruin

Crusaders, it’s occurred to me that as we enter the summer blockbuster season, now is the perfect time to refresh our memories on proper summer movie (and all movies for that matter) etiquette.

This first venture into the new cinematic season has brought to light a particular film fan faux pas…

In this the age of Twitter, there are so very many ways to ruin a plot point for everyone…

It’s easy to think that simply staying off Twitter (and sometimes Facebook) will spare you the tragedy of having a twist revealed…

But then one day you find yourself trapped on the train with a group of students who think they’re hilarious (and maybe under different circumstances, they would be) spoil the end of “A Quiet Place,” for EVERYONE.

I’m just grateful they hadn’t seen “Infinity War,” or things could have gotten ugly…

So, friends, as we embark on this season of high-octane spoiler potential, let’s all take a moment to remember the magic of those incredible reveals and then imagine having them happen on a train ride home from work and not in the theater. With a little thought and consideration, we can all have a fantastic summer of cinema, together.

…bi-daily smile…
