Last June of 29th, Veranza of KCC was officially made available to the public. It houses a lot of restaurants and brands that are new to the city, including Yellow Cab Pizza Co. I don't know about you, but I've been a huge fan of this pizza place ever since I had my first bite at Davao last summer of 2006 (see? I even remember the time).
So when we finally thought that the crowd has already somehow thinned (the place was packed last Saturday and Sunday) we finally decided to have our dinner there. Here's what we ordered:
Anchovy Lovers (Regular) - P380 (good for 4 people)Black olives, anchovies, capers, roasted garlic, button mushrooms and onions -sourceThis has always been a favorite. This is supposed to be a bit salty so this may taste strange compared to what Filipino taste buds expect from a pizza. Although it's supposed to be good for 4 people, we easily consumed this between the three of us.
Over-all, we had a wonderful meal.

One area that Yellow Cab Pizza Co. Veranza has to improve on though is their service.. It seems like the staff is generally confused and don't know what to do yet. The lady at the counter was too focused on whatever it is she was calculating that she didn't noticed that we were already making our order. Our food arrived late. And we had to constantly follow up(something that my mom and I like to do). I guess this is because the place is still new and the staff haven't gotten used to the system yet. My father said at that point they've only mastered their training in theory and not in practice yet so we let it pass. I'm sure the staff are doing the best that they can. Besides, they were very polite despite our constant bugging. They're quick to respond to our request (even if they were obviously nervous and all).
Here are few additional pictures I got of Veranza mall. This kind of architectural design is new for Gensan but it reminds me of Cebu Ayala's Terraces.
First of it's kind in Mindanao, they say.
How about you?Do you like Pizza too? What is your favorite pizza place?
