I meant to do this post ages ago and never got around to it. And as my brain is thoroughly lacking the capacity to write anything beautiful or coherent, I decided I would post it today. :)
I have this wonderful friend named Chrissy. You have probably seen me refer to her as my Capulet Lover, since we are in both in Alpha Psi Omega — the National Theatre Honors Fraternity — and I am a Montague and she is a Capulet. So you know the whole Romeo and Juliet thing? Yea. Anyway. She is wonderful.
Aside from being in APO together, we also took several classes together my senior (her junior) year. We both have an extreme love of Disney and our mutual favorite Disney Princess is Sleeping Beauty.
On top of just being awesome, Chrissy is super crafty. Which comes in handy when making letters and stuff like that, but this year for Christmas, she brought her craftiness to a whole new level.
What you see above is a scarf. Yes, that's right, a scarf that Chrissy painted and sewed depicting Flynn Ryder climbing up Rapunzel's hair a la "Tangled." And she made it. Seriously. Coolest Christmas gift ever? I think so.
