Remember to change your batteries?
That's right, it should be a customary household ritual that when the clocks are changed both back or forward that you change the batteries in all your fire alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.
It's a simple thing that many over look that could save the life of both you and your loved ones.
Carbon Monoxide is odorless, tasteless, colorless and non-irritating but deadly.
Each year carbon monoxide poisoning is cause for an estimated 40,000 people to seek medical attention.

House fires also cause numerous fatalities, and can occur at any time, by cooking, forgetting to turn off appliances, faulty electricity, natural disasters, etc.

Home Owners insurance may pay to rebuild your home if you are victim of this horrible event but it can not pay to replace you or your loved ones.
So if you did not remember to change your batteries, head on down to your local store and pick up a pack. It's better to spend $10 on batteries now then it is to spend the rest of your life grieving the loss of your loved ones.
