Z is for Zeitgeist

A new age is dawning.

“In order to change an existing paradigm you do not struggle to try and change the problematic model. You create a new model and make the old one obsolete.” ~  Richard Buckminster Fuller

Out With the Old

Unity, oneness, 5th dimension, intuition, meditation, multi-sensory human, evolving consciousness are all terms which symbolize the zeitgeist of the coming times. This time promises to install new ways of living and being, new ways of relating and acknowledging each other and all life. Signs of rampant cultural and social decay have ramped up as last-ditch efforts to hang on to a no-longer working world and unsustainable life. After all, how much can one planet take?

“Dear reader, traditional human power structures and their reign of darkness are about to be rendered obsolete.” ~ Richard Buckminster Fuller, Cosmography: A Posthumous Scenario for the Future of Humanity

The change is already happening. You can notice if you pay attention. Even while we are daily assaulted by the horror stories of everyday desperation, signs of human kindness are still present. Signs that we are in the midst of a change are there. We’ve had enough of the dollar bottom line and are ready for a better way of doing things. Human innovation is meeting human need bringing creative solutions to neglected problems. If you’re paying attention to only what you hear on the news, or see around you, chances are likely that you do not know what I mean. But those of you who are not fooled by appearances, can sense something different in the making. Things feel different. In fact, take notice of the ideas popping up which serve to benefit the whole rather than individual interests, and you will get the picture.

In With the New

You can be a part of this zeitgeist, this spirit of the coming age. Simply do what you know is right, is best, is urging you on from your deepest parts. There in the deep lies the core which connects us all. There is the voice of reason.

“Never forget, no matter how overwhelming life’s challenges and problems seem to be, that one person can make a difference in the world. In fact, it is always because of one person that all the changes in the world come about. So be that person.” ~ Buckminster Fuller

Hope. It hangs in the air. Don’t think we are lost. Stop, step back and trace the changes moving in the background. Daily, more people get the call. Be one of them.  You can make a difference. So can I.  We can move to the rhythm of the still small voice within which whispers so we will have to stop, be silent, and hear.  Moving from that space will take us surely where we wish to go. We have the power to change.

In fact, we are the ones we have been waiting for. Somewhere inside you, you know it, too.
