Hello lovelies! :)I have kept this little secret on the down low but now I can share it with you all, at the start of this month a guy called Tom and his girlfriend Bex decided to create a magazine called Zine to which they asked for illustrators from the North East to submit work to a chosen theme and those who submitted straight away got space in the magazine and those who didn't quite make it get included on their facebook page.
I was lucky enough to get my work sent off in time so I was actually featured in it, which I have shown below. I was very excited about this to get my work seen even just a tiny bit is always helpful and it is something to add to the CV which is an even bigger bonus :) Yesterday evening they hosted a small party to celebrate the launch of their new magazine.
As you can see there was free copies of the Issue dotted around the venue and lots of sweeties! XDEveryone was really friendly and it had just a pleasant vibe which is always a good thing!
I also ended up helping with the promotion of the launch as I dabbled a little in taking photographs of the event too which I thought was a lot of fun :D
