A Russian Spring

It might sound a little strange when I say that sushi and palaces are the first two things that come to my mind when I think back on my semester in Saint Petersburg. The sushi was so affordable that you could almost eat it daily, the palaces and courtyards we visited were stunning. I did a lot of eating over there. (It took me at least a year to step back on a scale again.)
When I think of it now I remember all the wonderful people I met at my international school. I got to know a lovely bunch of girls (the fourth photo) that had come all the way from Italy, South Korea and Sweden. I've been thinking a lot about these people lately, and our shared experiences. We were strolling in the courtyards together, admiring beautiful palaces and sweating our buts of in the public banjas (the Russian saunas). I miss all of them a lot, and I'm sad to say that I don't keep in touch with them. That's just how it is after four years. Now where are the photos from all these moments with all these wonderful people? These photos are actually some of the very few I took.
I really don't know what I was thinking.
