Although I've been complaining to myself that there never is enough time to do what I love, I look back at this year and I realize how many paintings and drawings I've actually completed. I'm pretty embarrassed by the first ones (the four ones on the top), but they also make me realize how much I've grown. I've gone from childish animal paintings to a pretty realistic self-portrait in one year!
The Get Your Paint On - online course is the only organized painting course I've joined this year. I also found Our Creative Spaces - through which I got to know a lot of creative people! I still find watercolors and painting bodies very challenging. And I'm still going to experiment with styles, mediums, colors and composition for probably the next five years or so. I'm prepared to do tons of work, but I'm certain now, more than ever, that it will pay off.
I want to thank you all for following my little creative journey this year. Your supportive comments are simply heartwarming! I can't wait to see what creative things you guys come up with through the new year, and I hope we can continue to share experiences!
