Aesop: For a Natural and Beautiful Skin!

ENG. The first time I saw this brand was at Merci in Paris. It called my attention because of its botanical look. Then, when I was planning my trip to London two weeks ago I decided to log on WGSN to see different recommendations they have about cool places to visit, including stores. So when I saw this store being mentioned in such a cool website I knew I had to visit their store in Shoreditch for sure!!!
Aesop is a skin, hair and body products brand for those who are seeking effective botanical solutions. The perfect remedy for Juana right now since her skin is being affected a little bit too much by the pollution of her lovely Milan. The brand combines natural extracts and scientific-aon you can also see it in their stores and products packaging. The store at Shoreditch is minimal and, as Juana will call it: a chic laboratory if that even exists! The floors are wooden, the walls are white, there is also a sink in the store and as baackground music while I was there, they had my favorite singer Florence and the Machine! The service is complete fantastic! The girl who took care of me showed me all the products available for the face in her store and made me try them on my hand (that is why they have the sink so you can wash off the products you try). The sales people are very knowledgeable about the products, they actually explained everything I asked and needed to know about the product itself, and at the end while I was waiting to pay they even gave me some English tea! It definitely was a wonderful buying experience! The two products I bought which I have been trying for the past two weeks and so far have been great:
  • B and Tea Balancing Toner
  • Parsley seed facial cleansing oil
But the brand is not only worth it for their products, it is also worth it to see their stores in general! As they mention on their website “Our stores are unique in the retail landscape and have little in common with one another aside from a welcoming ambience.”  They feel their stores are there to showcase their highly prized products and to create this they collaborate with highly known designers and architects. Here some examples of the different stores they have worldwide!
