If I remember my past & predict my future 1st may of 2008 was and will be the worst day of my life...
It was 6:30 AM when I woke up in the hotel room in Calcutta, for the 1st two minutes, I was like some crazy soul, running from each and every corner to every possible end of that goddamn hotel room. Then suddenly realization struck and I accepted the fact that I have missed my flight to bangalore which was at 6:15AM (and I was supposed to report the airport at 4:30 AM...)
Then the next 15 minutes I cried and I kept crying until I checked out from the Hotel. I reached station straight away, and called papa (still crying) to tell him about the incident, thankfully papa stayed calm and told me to take some train back home.
At the ticket counter, I inquired for the earliest possible train to take me back, The man at the counter advised me to take the Poorva express, I took a general ticket and came back to Parasnath in the worst possible way.
At 1:30PM I reached Parasnath, and since I was kind of bankrupted, I couldn't afford a Personal Taxi, so I came by an auto which was full of rural "irritating" people.. irritating because sometime they enjoy random things, like a speed breaker or a group of cows blocking the road, huh..
When I reached this Barakar Bridge, there was another surprise waiting for me, The bridge have collapsed a few months ago and one had to carry his luggage himself only and had to cross the bridge down under...... I did the same... that was the worst moment... I had two big bag packs on my back.. On the other side of the bridge, I took another auto and sat in the same fashion...(fashion..?? did I just say fashion...huh).
At around 2:45PM I reached Giridih {my hometown in Jharkhand} bus stand and took a rickshaw that was completely personally hired though and reached home at 3PM.
At around 7PM when I was sitting idle on my terrace... I realized the co-incidental fact of the day that the most hardworking day of my life is globally acclaimed as The Labour Day...
