A/s/l

Posted on the 19 June 2012 by Killmenow @lbigfoot

I am at my computer, minding my own business, thinking about what to do with the Mouithsone when all of a sudden I get a popup message from Alice. I felt like breaking into song with “Alice? Alice? Who the…” but I am a gentleman and no one likes my singing anyway, apart from the cats and dogs of the neighborhood and the dear neighbor who wants to call the police as an extra audience.

Anyway Alice’s message was intriguing “A/S/L.” My concentration is now gone as Alice’s picture has piqued my interest. I turn my attention towards Alice.

“What is A/S/L?” I ask her. Alice tells me she is 23/F/FL. I am assuming that it is a code.

“That is nice Alice, but what is A/S/L?”

“That is me in the picture,” Alice continues. I had realized that as I am only half a genius, an IQ of 80.

“Alice, why are you not answering me?” I must admit I am getting bored with her lack of conversational skills. Maybe  her IQ is lower than mine?

Goto http://… and you’ll see me warming up for u…click accept invite…

OK, my interest has waned. I want to get back to watching American Idol. Oops I admitted that I watch that program even though Simon is no longer in it. Does Alice really think I am that gullible that I will click on the link?

YES WE CAN!

It is probably safe to do this at work as long as I am not caught. I can always tell my bosses that I was doing research. Or can I? I really want to watch the final of American Idol. Most browser today manage to stop the sex sites. By clicking Accept, am I bypassing these rules? Should I do it anyway? Maybe this is how the Stuxnet virus found its way into Iranian computers? Were they watching Iranian Idol?

BotsAlice looks very inviting to me, but why does she want access to my computer? She doesn’t listen to a word I say anyway. Or she listens and does whatever she wants anyway. My friend said that is just because she is a woman. Don’t kill the messenger. He said it, not me. But in this case she is not a woman, but an internet BOT.

But what is A/S/L? Should I risk clicking the Accept?
