in early october anthony and I had the good fortune to witness his brother marry his longtime sweetheart in upstate new york. everything was perfect. a party was held in picturesque cooperstown, the night before so both sides of their families could meet. october is an amazing time of year in cooperstown making the destination one of the most beautiful wedding venues I've ever been too. as we headed into the wedding tent we were told to find our seats by looking for a photo of our younger selves on our dinner plates - a thoughtful and fun touch that instantly relaxed everyone as they checked out each other's photos while looking for their own. below is a shot of our view of lake otsego from the wedding tent. at some point during the party nearly every one of the forty wedding guests ventured outside to stand by the lake and take in the awesome view, a perfect backdrop for a wedding and the reception that followed. located at the otsego golf club in springfield center, new york, it seemed like we had the entire grounds to ourselves. we celebrated until late into the night taking a trolley ride back to our respective hotels, and assorted bed and breakfasts, singing all the way - of course!
