Happy International Women’s Day!
To all the women participating in A Day Without A Woman, good for you. To all the women who aren’t able to participate, keep working hard.
In many parts of the world, women have made great strides. They’ve proven their abilities and their value time and again. Today, we celebrate these accomplishments while also acknowledging that for many, we still have a long way to go.
Today is about many things, but at the top of that list are unity and equality. When we stand together for equality for all women we’re harder to ignore. Today we stand with women of the past and present, and we stand up for women of the future.
Most importantly, we remind the world that people are fighting this fight every day. We remind the world that women’s rights are human rights.
To all you strong and powerful women out there, keep fighting the good fight. However you choose to celebrate today remember that we all have our own struggles, and a little kindness goes a long way.
