…Be Inappropriate
Tired of the same old annoyances? Looking for a distraction from the presidential election? Craving a bit of rebellion in your life?

Good news, it’s Banned Books Week!

The perfect little annoyance, distraction and rebellious cause.

This past year, there were plenty of controversial books. Which, naturally, made them extremely popular.

“The Hunger Games” and “Shades of Grey” made the list, as well as some others that might surprise. For example, “To Kill a Mockingbird” is still making waves after all these years.

It makes you a little proud to have begrudgingly read this classic in middle school. While at the same time, it leaves you a little sad that censorship is still an issue for this book and others like it.

So this week, take a break, take a stand and grab a book. It’s a revolt for those inclined to leisure.

…and, of course, if you’re looking to take a break from all this rebellion, it wouldn’t hurt to check out the first presidential debate tomorrow night. It’s like reality TV with a larger vocabulary (hopefully).
