If you're questioning the grammatical nature of today's title, I have two things to say:
- I'm so proud of you, you little word nerd.
- I'm so sorry you missed out on one of the best meme days of the year...
So, seeing as yesterday it was "gonna be May" today must "be May." If you didn't follow that logic just humor me (please).
Seeing as it's now actually May, the wordplay only gets better. It's a full month of pun potential. To kick it off, here are a few of "may" and May's finest moments.
First up, some literal May courtesy of Lerner and Loewe's "Camelot."
Next, some "me" May. Okay, this one doesn't really work because Keala and company have amazing elocution, but just ignore that fact and enjoy the song.
Last but not least, the potential of "may" the verb.
On that note, I'll leave you to enjoy this first day of May. Whatever version of May (or "may") you're feeling today, may this day (and this May) be everything you want them to be.
