old-stack-of-booksHappy Summer Solstice! Today marks the official beginning of the summer season.

There’s no better time than summer to catch up on all of that reading you just didn’t get around to touring the other three seasons.

Of course, the season offers plenty of new reads to enjoy too, and Harry Potter fans are all ready to dive into J.K. Rowling’s latest book, “The Silkworm.”

That is, unless you ordered it on Amazon. The mammoth online retailer seems to be having issues with delayed shipping on the author’s latest release. But don’t worry, they can get it to you in one to two months.

I’m sure it has nothing to do with the ongoing struggle between Amazon and the book’s publisher, Hachette. Purely, coincidence. The good news is, you should have the book in time for fall, because there’s nothing better than a good autumn read, except for a good summer read of course.

Happy reading folks!

[Update: The completely coincidental delays have apparently subsided. I'm sure this development has nothing to do with the consumer outrage that resulted from their petty manipulation of the market. Just coincidence.]
