Do you see what we see?
Can you feel it? That impending joy in the air? It’s almost here!
In anticipation of the season, and as part of day two of our three-day intro to the holidays, we thought we’d share our favorite parts.
So here’s a smattering of why we love this time of the year:
- Stephanie: Say what you will about playing Christmas music in July, you have to admit it makes you smile a little before you start mocking the violator of seasonal music playing. Our time is here! It’s time to play the music!
- Zer: I know, it’s tacky to have Christmas lights up year-round, unless you live in a dorm room (or they look awesome around your window). Their time is finally here, for the next month or so, they’re in vogue! Yes, that’s right, it’s time to light the lights!
- Both: Family and Friends—they’re the reason for the season. Everyone may not be so thrilled at the thought of spending a lot of time with their family, but 2WC can’t wait. It’s time to meet the Muppets! We mean family, family, did we say Muppets?
The jig is up. Sorry to those of you looking for some holiday survival tips, but this is a hostile Muppets’ takeover. Although, how hostile can a takeover involving our favorite furry felt friends be?
We figure after all they’ve given us, an early introduction to comedy and oh so many blog videos; it’s time to give something back. Or at the very least pay it forward, and spread the Muppets love.
As the release of their first feature film in 12 years draws incredibly close, let’s take a moment to sit back, relax, and be thankful.
It’s time to meet the Muppets. Although if you haven’t met the Muppets, you probably don’t read our blog very often. So, welcome and prepare to have your cultural mind blown.
It’s a week of the Muppets (with a bit of holiday flair)!
