Beauty and the Geek.

Posted on the 29 December 2012 by Bellshann @bellshann

So this Christmas was an interesting one for me! I’ve been housebound (slightly exaggerating but not much) since November 16th when I got my first symptoms of glandular fever – I recommend it to no one. Only in the past 2 weeks have I been able to go out and about. I wasn’t able to get excited for Christmas until a few days before, and even then I wasn’t feel overly festive! Nevertheless, I did enjoy Christmas, of course. Family time, presents and lots and lots of food – how could anyone not be happy!? I got some lovely presents; here’s a photo of a few of them.

Who says geek and beauty can't mix!? Lots of perfume, MAC cosmetics, feathers (obviously), Lomography accessories, Lord of The Rings ;)

Just before I go, I wanted to share with you the craziness of the household I live in. With three women living together (myself, my mum and my sister), there are mental, stressful times when I want to bang all of our heads together, but mainly just a stupid amount of laughter. I’m usually the one that photographs all of the idiotic but somehow funny things we do – but I wont be so mean as to upload them on here…maybe in the new year :P We all have many different nick names. My Mum’s name is actually Sarah, but she’s often called Peggy, Mumma Hann, Mingming 1….don’t ask! My sister Abbey can be anything from Abs to Babyboo, Mingming 2 to ‘Pudding’. And me, I get away with the silly nicknames, I’m either Bells or Baby Mingming! Yes….we are all mingmings. We have heart tattoos to prove it!

Anyone watch The Big Bang Theory? BAZINGA! And yes Abs, I will watch my 'spleenage'.

Notes we put into a few peoples napkins for Christmas dinner... Another said 'You don't need anymore pudding'
