Today is a magical day folks, and no “Outlander” fans, I’m not talking about the return of your favorite Scottish show. But you’re close…
It’s Unicorn Day!
Which, surprise, surprise, is the same day as Tartan Day, and coincidentally the return of everyone’s favorite Scottish show, “Outlander.” To which I’m sure the folks at Starz are like, “What? That’s today? A day that celebrates both Scotland and it’s national animal? What a coincidence.”
Well played, Starz. Well played.
But enough about marketing, today is about the celebration of this magical creature.
Sure, it’s not real, but that’s kind of the point. The unicorn is not only a majestic, mythical animal, and bringer of happiness. It’s a symbol of the human imagination. You know, just like Nessie. (The Scots love their mythical creatures.)
So, whether you’re a fan or not, take a moment today to appreciate the marvel that these mythical creatures are.
Okay, “Outlander” fans, you can return to your countdown now…
…bi-daily smile…
You’re welcome…
