My mom was born in 1958 and look she still hasn’t aged at all. My love for cosmetics was something I got from her. I didn’t grew along side my mom since I was a little girl ‘coz she’s always been busy with work but she never failed to spoil me with loads of beauty and fashion essentials when I turned an adolescent.
Now let’s jump to her styling favorites for June 2012.
As I had mentioned in my earlier post we should have a water proof lip color as a must have for this rainy season. Mom bought something even better lip color compared to my long lasting NYX lip cream - Revlon’s JUST BITTEN (P590).
It can easily be applied because its basically like a permanent marker in red. You won’t have problems having to deal with small corners of your lips. PLUS it dries out much faster.
The ugly part is that the lip moisturizer can easily break specially when its melted (you know how hot it is here in the Philippines… LOL). and this lip stain comes only in one shade and that’s bloody red. :D
Next is L’oreal Revitalift.
As you know my mom is a bit old and she needs a little help to keep her face firm and moisturized and that’s when she uses revitalift.
There’s two serums (Moisturizer and Lifting) inside and in one pump you’ll get it in equal amount - BRILLIANT IDEA!.
The consequence on this is that you’d probably need to consume a couple of bottles to see its effect - getting young won’t happen in one bottle.
