Christmas (and “Les Misérables” of course) is upon us. Christmas is a time for family and friends, good food and good fun, and taking a break from the daily norm to appreciate all that we have.
I acknowledge that not everyone loves the holiday, and with all of the lights, Santas, and songs being thrown at the consuming public from October through December, I can’t say I really blame them. Anyone who’s wandered through a shopping mall on a Saturday in December can probably relate to Ebenezer.
But now that the festive day is upon us, and all of the shopping and planning are done (hopefully), don’t forget to take a moment, or several, to appreciate the day for what it’s meant to be, joyful.
