Across the country last night, millions of tiny, adorable beggars descended on the doorsteps of suspecting citizens. Armed with plastic swords and fairy princess wands, they had one thing on their minds—candy.
Sadly, some of these cute candy collectors will not be enjoying their recently acquired loot today. In fact, some of them didn’t even make it out the door last night.
Due to the early snowfall across the northeastern part of the country, Halloween was rescheduled, relocated and even canceled.
Children were forced to resort to the candy that their parents bought. We can only imagine the horror when these innocents attempted to conduct a candy-swap.
Hopefully, the parents of these poor dears will remember their pain as we make our way through this, the third week of the Christmas shopping season.
We can only hope that the onslaught of cheer, merriment, holiday decorations and sales, will help with the healing process.
