Yes, we do. Perhaps too much of it at times!It's funny when people talk about being single as opposed to being married, they often note your "freedom" that you're not aware of...(of course you are!)...I think sometimes we just have too much time–time we'd probably like to be spending with someone special. Yes, it's true there's a certain amount of freedom...
Here is my stream of consciousness...freedom to grocery shop at will without consulting over items (you know those people in the stores debating over a two dollar box of tea!), freedom to stay up real late and not worry about keeping someone else up, freedom to go to a drive through and just pick up one little snack for "you" (even if you're behind the family van with the huge order of the day!), freedom to see who you want, when you want, flirt at random, plan your own trip the way you want it, and freedom to eat the meal of your own choosing each and every night!
So, don't forget that freedom that comes with being single...if you find yourself un-single one day, the days of leisure will be gone and split between other people, children and responsibilities.
