I have been a busy bee recently with two teething babies and all that entails (will this teething never end, and seriously where are the teeth already?), meeting and interviewing Myleene Klass (see post here), writing some new music and if that wasn't enough, I have been getting my geek on in a major way over on Bad Haven (only the bestest nerdy geek-fest of a website out there...and I am not biased at all). Plus as a rather lovely cherry on a super delicious cake the sweet people at the Good Web Guide invited me to be their guest blogger and asked me to write a piece on the genesis of my blog, if you feel like giving it a read click here. It was kind of exciting to put this piece together as it gave me a chance to really think about what me and my twins have been through. From pregnancy to chatty, wriggly, baby superheroes, I am one lucky girl!
So all in all it has been a pretty good couple of weeks, busy, but kind of awesome. The only blips were me forgetting to put the lid on the saucepan whilst making popcorn (again). Not the best surprise when you walk into the kitchen and popcorn is literally popping everywhere! Also I had a fairly annoying conversation with the tax credits people working for our 'lovely' (by lovely I mean suck-fest) of a government who actually agreed with me that it was terrible how much the thresholds of earnings have changed. To quote the lady I spoke to "It is really awful and unfair isn't it? It is really not right." I love that their worker drones are not even on board with the cut-throat way the government treats it's people. I am gonna leave that potential rant there though, as it will ruin my awesome mood.
I realize this post is a little bit me, me, me so I just wanted to say that the twins are doing fabulously (apart from the horrid teething). They are both exploring their voices and from what I can tell vocally I think River wants to be a dinosaur and Indigo a Lion..."ROAR!"
