Halloween is fast approaching and with it the kind of panic that can only be brought on by a lack of costume and not enough candy. Thankfully, Halloween comes with its own built-in stress management system - pumpkin carving.
Is there a better way to legally (and somewhat safely) take out your frustrations than by taking a knife to a giant orange squash and scooping out its insides? Seriously, is there? (Asking for a friend)
Aside from the whole butchering process, pumpkin carving also presents an opportunity for artistic expression. For those who are artistically inclined, a pumpkin represents a blank canvas ready to become a slowly rotting masterpiece. You can use it to make a statement, root for your team, reflect your current mood or spirit animal.
(For those who are not artistically inclined, well, everything looks better in candlelight, especially horribly maimed jack-o'-lanterns.)
The point is, the possibilities are endless. We all need a creative outlet now and then, so get out there and start redirecting your rage at the pumpkins...they know what they did.
...just for fun:
