Case of the Mondays on a Thursday...

Posted on the 24 February 2012 by Elliesoo @EllieSooTweets
Well what do they say about things coming in 3s... Anyway, Small Town Mommy had a post recently about WTH cases she encountered and I was on the fence about writing this post but I will proceed.
So here's what I feel:
Case of the Mondays on a Thursday...And I do want to go to Australia (I digress..)
So as most of you know, I had surgery. That would be #1. I have been taking it easy but I get restless and have a strong urge to go running or do any type of cardio but I can't. Btw, I had it on my hip, so it is very difficult to even sit and sleep, let alone walk.
Secondly, my great uncle recently died. I mentioned it previously.
Third, I was banned from a swap. This gets a big WTF. First off, who gets banned from swaps on swap-bot? I can see if you have a glaring/blaring "I'm a moocher and a flaker" record, but I don't. Long story short, I am quitting swap-bot. I should thank her actually because she helped me make that decision. Maybe I'll do my own swap/trades/exchanges. It would be fun to exchange art with other artists, creative minds and people who support the arts.
I don't like being a Debbie Downer, so I am going to share the better moments too:
1) I was productive today and made several cards
2) My new software came so postcards, cards, labels, etc. are going to be created soon!
3) This is a big one-- I'm tumor free on my hip! Yay, yay, yay! I wanted to do a leprechaun jump for joy and a dance but I had to settle for small disco hand moves.
4) Through the ban, I made a few friends and perhaps some new best friends :o)
5) I have new followers = blog love = Lauren feels loved and happy. Hooray!
I'm trying to work on a better reply system to your comments. I do try to reply on here but there's no actual notification to you when I do. I'd reply on your blog, but it's out of context.. I do read every one of them and appreciate your comments though.
My dad and brother are leaving tomorrow for the funeral in MT. I hope they have a safe flight! It's a nice 30 degrees there (that's the high temp!)
