…Catch Up

20140610-181438-65678585.jpgThe “green” movement has brought about a lot of changes in our environmental awareness and the way a lot of us live our lives. Now, a seemingly unlikely partnership between Ford and Heinz, could be bringing about even more change.

Yes, that’s Ford, as in the motor company, and Heinz, as in the ketchup company.

The two are joining forces to find a new use for all the left over tomato waste from the ketchup-making process.

Don’t worry, you be driving around with only an old tomato skin between you and the pavement. Although, you may store your change in a plastic container that had a former life as a tomato.

If that sounds strange, and unsafe, well then Google plastic, and find out what it’s usually made out of (hint: it too use to be a plant).
