One of this world’s harsh truths is that there is a great divide between the wealthiest and poorest on our planet. It’s a problem that persists and probably always will.

As sad as that is, and as much as I think we should do what we can for the less fortunate, I’m also not a fan of making people feel guilty about luxury. It just doesn’t seem fair or exceptionally productive, but everyone has their limits, and I found mine: it’s $8 ice cubes.

It would seem that “normal” ice cubes can contain up to 150 impurities, while these designer cubes are completely pure. Although I find it hard to believe that they’re still in that state by the time they reach your glass.

Plus, if you’re going to charge a premium for your frozen water, at least make it interesting to look at. Cubes are so overdone.

Not to mention, I only plan on charging $4 a cube for my Brita filtered cubes. It’s only 20% more impurities, at half the price. Get ‘em while you can.
