I am back to my blog after sooo long FINALLY!!! It has been a crazy week and a bit with us celebrating with family and friends. I am so sad that Christmas is already over and the end of the year is finishing tomorrow. I swear just yesterday we were putting up our tree and getting in the spirit. I have a ton of posts that I will be putting up so please bare with me if you all get sick of my posts lol. I will also warn you in advance there will be pictures galore as it was Bella's first Christmas and I wanted to soak up as many pictures as possible.
It has been such a fun week for us, the bf has been off since December 20th so it has been so great to have him home and get to spend all this time with us. I have never baked so much in my life and I will be glad that I don't need to do anymore baking for awhile!. I am stuffed to the rim with all this good food we have been eating and glad the new year is fast approaching as that is when the new and approved diet will be starting. I could start today but what is one more day going to do lol.
So I am going to start with our Christmas Eve re-cap. We have a lot of traditions that we do as a family on Christmas Eve. We started the day with me baking way tooo much. Bella just watched and played with things that she shouldn't be playing with like the bread basket!
The kitchen table was set and decorated for our guest's who were arriving later. I always love when the table is decorated especially in Christmas colours.
Bella also got her own chair at the table My mom also picked up these really cute socks for Belles to go with her Christmas Eve outfit. I really wish I could have had my own pair like them. Here is Bella playing before we got her changed into her outfit and just another cute picture I have of her. After we got her changed and put her down for a little nap, she woke up and was ready for all the festivities. As I stated above we have a lot of traditions that we have on Christmas Eve and one of them is that we always have spaghetti with my mom's homemade sauce she makes. So of course we had to let the little one try some and join in on this traditional dinner we have. Get ready for some serious cuteness. she loved her spaghettiexcept for maybe in this picture lolnow she is happy to eat the saucemy FAVOURITE picture of me and her as she has learned how to now give kisses!! So one of our traditions we have is that we always open one present which is always pajama's lol. I always love this one as we all get into them a little bit after dinner and get comfy, so when we start to drink more as the night goes on lol, I know we will always be so comfortable in our new pj's. Below are pictures of Bella in her Xmas pj's. She was my little candy cane for the night.
My mom also got Bella a Christmas ornament for the tree(which was her one present to open as she was already in her pj's). Such a cute little ornament and had Love, Grandma engraved on the back. My mom's friend was also over that night for dinner and got a little something for Bella too. She picked her up her first piggy bank, which was pretty perfect as we were actually looking for a good one to get Bella. the sheep was the piggy bank, but she seemed more interested in the bag it came in lol. These next two pictures are one of my favorite of her. As she has now learned how to pull herself up onto basically everything now, she had pulled herself up onto the ledge by the window and was looking out looking for Santa that night!!! It was just sooo precious.
She just melts my heart with all the cute things I see her doing. I love how she always kneels on one knee to try and get up. We had such a fun night and I still can't believe this is already over. I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and I will be re-capping on Christmas day tomorrow. Until Next Time XO
