There are many times you probably say to yourself things happen to be a “coincidence”. I say not, but that’s because I think there are no coincidences. I feel like things happen for some reason I can’t see. Here is a very odd bit of trivia for you tonight on the matter of coincidences:
Why did I post this? A number of reasons. I happened to post something the other day on the same day two of my friends told me about their cancer. I messaged my friend and told her I was going to meet her at this golf charity event for her cancer that was started in honor of a young man close to my age. I posted about my grandmother’s cancer that same day. Got to the golf event today and just happened to be speaking with the parents of the young man who recently passed from cancer. I just happened to say my grandparent’s last name when speaking to them about something totally unrelated. The lady was shocked and asked me my grandmother’s first name. They were neighbors. She spoke so kindly of my grandmother I almost cried. Coincidence? I think not. Sometimes the universe tries to tell us things and we need to listen. Connections made with other people leave a lasting impression long after we are gone and I was reminded today of that fact.
