Alright, America, this is it. We are less than a day out from Election Day, and it’s time to think about the future…
After tomorrow we’ll for better or worse, we’ll all be in the same boat. And after an election season that’s been especially divisive, we need to do what our country has always done—put our differences aside and come together as the great nation that we are.
For inspiration, I point to my own family and our baseball loyalties. Half Cardinal Nation (red), Half Cubby Faithful (blue), yet, this past week the incredibly humble and wise Cardinal fans in the family congratulated the Cubs fans in the family on their long-(long, long, long) awaited World Series win.
That’s the kind of mindset we need heading into tomorrow. We are a diverse nation, with different perspectives, different experiences, and that’s what makes us strong as a nation. So let’s get out there, vote, and keep on being great. Go team!
