This Sunday, you can feel the excitement and anticipation in the air. If you listen closely you can almost hear that familiar melody wafting through the air, the clang of the dressing gong, and, of course, the ring of those beloved servant bells.
If you listen closer, you can hear the fading grumbling from an American audience that has to wait an extra four months to watch the latest season of “Downton Abbey.” Today, however, let’s let bygones be bygones (until next September when we will resume whining about it).

It’s Downton Day!
Last season left us with plenty of questions: Which eligible bachelor of the moment will Mary choose? Why does life hate Edith? And at what point will Anna just lose it?
Seriously, someone so small and sweet can only hold all of those secrets for so long. She is a ticking time bomb dressed as a lady’s maid.
Will any of these questions actually be resolved this season? Probably not, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be one hell of a ride.
So, ladies and gentlemen, enjoy your Sunday, and your return to the halls of Downton.
