Merry Christmas Eve Eve! Less than 48 hours until Christmas.
I’m sure many of you are about to embark on your Holiday adventures, so I thought this was as good a time as any to review travel etiquette. Whether you’re traveling by plane, train, or automobile (or bus, etiquette in your personal vehicle is between you and the driver), it’s always a good idea to look out for your fellow travelers.
Think of it as an early Christmas present. It’s the gift that keeps giving all the year ’round:
- Shoes are not optional, except for at airport security of course, but please put (and keep) them back on.
- Not everyone likes your music, but we appreciate the thought. Please turn your volume down. We thank you as do your ear drums.
- Finally, I feel like this doesn’t need to be mentioned, but I’ve seen it happen too many times to not mention it. It is not appropriate to trim your nails in public. End of story. Don’t do it.
Above all, be kind to one another. It’s the Holidays after all.
