Day 18: Some Call It A Bump, Others Call It A Lump

Posted on the 20 April 2012 by Sarahkasm @Sarahkasm
"How are you?"
I have a bump
At the base of my skull
It doesn't hurt
And it didn't hurt to figure out what it is
But I never mentioned it
When I paid the doctor a visit
About my headaches and fainting spells
He listened to me and
Sent me back home
With a bag of pills to down with my coke
He said I should be fine
The bump grew bigger
And the drugs didn't make me better
So I went to another doctor
He ordered some scans
And ran some tests
Then some more
Called me in and asked if I had family
If anyone came with me
I said yes
He asked me to call them in
Eversince then
I've been avoiding your question
As I move my hand across the bump
But I need to silence you
The same way the bump will silence me.
"I'm fine."
