With any great epic film series, comes an even more epic marketing campaign. In the case of “The Hobbit” they’ve taken a less traditional route.
Staying clear of the Smeagol cell phone commercial, or even the life insurance policy for those prone to death by dragon, they’ve opted instead for a product you can really sink your teeth into—the Denny’s Hobbit Menu.
Now, to the Tolkien novice it might seem a little bizarre (or incredibly bizarre). However, once you get past the “Denny’s” aspect of it, it’s kind of brilliant.
A little cheesy, perhaps, with menu items such as the Shire Sausage Skillet, Bilbo’s Berry Smoothie, Gandalf’s Gobble Melt, Radagast’s Red Velvet Pancake Puppies®, and the Dwarves’ Turkey and Dressing Dinner.
But what says “Hobbit” more than breakfast, second breakfast, elevenses, lunch, dinner and supper (and those snacks in between)?
The answer your searching for is—Nothing.
