Happy Halloween!
Hopefully you already have your costume planned and ready to go, but if not, I’m here to help.
Just because you waited till the last second to come up with a costume doesn’t mean it has to be boring. In fact, the thrill of putting together the perfect costume while flying by the seat of your pants totally beats thoughtfully planning your costume for a year.
Here are some last-minute suggestions to consider:
- Claire from “Jurassic World” — Odds are you already have a lot of this in your wardrobe. Just thrown on a white blouse and skirt, purple tank, and some nude heels. It may not be the most practical outfit for a cool October evening (or running from dinosaurs), but much like Claire, I’m sure you can make it work.
- Iron Man — Okay, this one is a bit nerdy, but it’s just too simple to not share. You’ll just need an old t-shirt and a sharpie. Simply write “Fe” the symbol for iron on the shirt with the sharpie. Put the shirt on, and you’re Iron Man…get it? Sorry ladies, you do have to be man in order for this costume to work.
- Pumpkin Pi — There are a couple of different options for this one. You can modify your old pumpkin costume (you know you have one) with the symbol for pi (π). Or if you’re looking to do a couple’s costume. One can go as pi, and the other can go as a pumpkin. Either way it’s adorably clever.
That’s all I’ve got for you. Hopefully that’s enough to get your creative juices flowing. Good luck, and have a very happy Halloween!
