This Friday marks the return of the Muppets to the silver screen in “Muppets Most Wanted.” However, it turns out that other movies are coming out too.
Specifically, “Divergent,” is coming out, and is threatening the Muppets’ spot atop the weekend box office.
Based on the best-selling, young adult book series, “Divergent,” is poised to be the next “Hunger Games.” However, it is unfortunate that they chose to take on Kermit and friends in their opening weekend.
“Divergent,” may have the teenager’s hooked, but “Muppets Most Wanted,” has generations worth of fans, spanning from teen to…well, much older than that.
Of course, at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter if the Muppets are number one at the box office on their opening weekend. But winning is always nice, so make the right choice this weekend.
