This Monday many of you out there are probably realizing that there are only three(ish) weekends between you and Christmas (it's me, okay? I'm realizing this.).

Because what's more motivating on a Monday in December than the prospect of making all of your Christmas presents homemade, personalized, DIY treasures?
The Monday meltdown...I mean motivation...practically writes itself.
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the sentiment of making something personal instead of buying something (which can also be personal) and I salute those who have the skill and time to make such treasures, but I think we all know those people started those gifts in August.
So, today, I'm not here to make the non-DIY-ers panic or shame the homemade hustlers but remind everyone that it really is the thought that counts (seriously).
So...it might be time to start thinking about that Christmas shopping.
